1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements Section 7 of our Terms of Service and provides specific guidance on prohibited conduct when using CapsuleHunt (the "Service"). This Policy applies to all users.
2. Inventory Data
2.1 False or Inaccurate Reports
- Submitting inventory statuses you have not personally verified
- Intentionally spreading misinformation for competitive or malicious purposes
- Filing false reports intended to damage the reputation of a specific store or product
2.2 Spam Reports
- Submitting large volumes of duplicate inventory reports in a short period
- Using automated tools (bots) to bulk-submit reports
3. Data Collection and Use
3.1 Unauthorized Scraping
- Using bots, crawlers, or scripts to automatically collect data at scale
- Employing techniques to bypass API rate limits
- Reusing or redistributing Service data for commercial purposes without explicit written permission from Everbundance
3.2 Unauthorized Access
- Accessing or attempting to take over other users' accounts
- Probing or exploiting system vulnerabilities
- Attacks including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and similar exploits
4. Community Conduct
4.1 Harassment and Threats
- Harassing, threatening, or stalking other users
- Posting discriminatory or violent content
- Doxxing — publicly sharing another person's private information without their consent
4.2 Impersonation and Fraud
- Impersonating other users, Company staff, or public figures
- Posting phishing links or deceptive content
- Running fraudulent campaigns, fake giveaways, or other scams
5. Illegal Content
The following content may not be posted or shared on the Service:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Content related to the sale of illegal drugs or weapons
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or patent rights
- Content that violates any person's privacy (e.g., unauthorized publication of personal information)
- Any other content that violates applicable law
6. Technical Prohibitions
- Sending excessive requests equivalent to a DDoS attack
- Any action that interferes with the normal operation of the Service
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Attempting to install backdoors or reverse-engineer the Service
7. Enforcement
If a violation of this Policy is confirmed, we may take the following actions:
- Remove the violating content
- Temporarily suspend the account
- Permanently delete the account
- Report the matter to law enforcement
For serious violations (illegal activity, significant harm to others, etc.), we may act immediately without prior notice.
