1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. CapsuleHunt uses cookies to keep you logged in and to ensure the Service functions correctly.
2. Cookies We Use
We currently use only the essential cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes, nor any third-party analytics cookies.
Separately from cookies, we record actions within the Service (searches, views, favorites) in our own database for service improvement and statistics. When you are not signed in, we group actions from the same device using an anonymous ID (ch_anon_id) stored in localStorage. See "Automatically Collected Information" in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy for details.
2.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Service to function. Disabling them will prevent core features such as login from working.

3. Transmission to External Services
When you use the Service, your browser transmits information to the following external providers to the extent necessary to deliver the Service (disclosed in accordance with the external transmission rules of Japan's Telecommunications Business Act). None of these transmissions are used for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Regarding the iOS app: The iOS app does not use cookies. It uses Apple's mapping functionality (MapKit) for map display and place search, so the information necessary to render the map is transmitted to Apple Inc. (USA). We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
These transmissions are essential to the operation of the Service and cannot be disabled while using it. For how each provider handles this information, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
4. Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow you to manage (allow, block, or delete) cookies via their settings. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for details.
Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent login and other core Service features from functioning.
5. Future Changes
If we introduce web analytics (such as Google Analytics) or any other cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide a means of consent or opt-out where required.
6. Policy Updates
If we update this Cookie Policy, we will notify you via an in-app announcement or by email to your registered address.
